Dawn Redwood is a large, fast-growing, deciduous tree native to China. It has attractive fine, soft-textured, needle-like foliage which turns an eye-catching bronze-orange color in fall. The trunk is bigger at the base much like an elephant foot and the bark has an interesting shaggy appearance.
