A hybrid of red maple and silver maple, 'Autumn Blaze' features fast growth and larger size along with finer branching and intense fall color. Leaves start to color from the top of the tree and progress downward until the entire tree is cloaked in red or orange-red foliage. The color starts earlier than many maples and is long-lasting.

This vigorous grower is a stately, adaptable shade tree with upright branching and a broadly oval shape.
