Vigorous, highly adaptable vine with large tangerine flowers with yellow throats. The trumpet-shaped flowers bloom in late spring producing pollen and nectar for pollinators and hummingbirds. The flowers are followed by 7" seed pods which persist until fall.

Cross vine grows rapidly holding itself up with branched tendrils with adhesive disks. The attractive foliage and flowers are good for screening old structures, covering fences, and climbing on arbors. Foliage remains evergreen in the south but turns reddish-purple and drops in colder areas.
