Question:
When I add plants to my shopping cart, I am sometimes asked to provide my email address. Why has this changed?
Answer:
Some users were experiencing problems with their shopping carts. Most web hosting companies only maintain an "active" user session for approximately 20 minutes after the last activity by the user. There are always times when a user may start a shopping cart and be unavoidably interrupted for longer than 20 minutes. To allow for these problems, we request your email address and use it as a unique identifier for your shopping cart and save that information to a privately maintained database. If your user session should happen to expire, we detect this and request your email address again so that we may retrieve your shopping cart.
Question:
When viewing the plant listing page, the descriptive information on the plant is sometimes followed by a miniature picture of a camera. What is the significance of this camera?
Answer:
The small picture of the camera indicates that we have one or more pictures of this plant on file which may be viewed by clicking on the bolded and underlined botantical name of the plant at the beginning of that paragraph.
